2. Regulatory status

2.1 Altruon B.V. provides payment orchestration software to businesses. It is not a payment service provider, is not licensed or registered with De Nederlandsche Bank or the Autoriteit Financiële Markten, and does not require such a licence or registration because it does not provide payment services, does not hold or transmit funds, and operates as a technical service provider within the meaning of Article 3(j) of Directive (EU) 2015/2366. Altruon B.V. is not a member of any payment scheme and is not a merchant of record.

2.2 Altruon B.V. is not subject to the supervision of any financial regulator. Complaints relating to a payment transaction should be addressed to the merchant with whom the transaction was made or to that merchant’s payment service provider.

3. Governing documents

3.1 Use of the website is governed by the Website Terms of Use. Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Merchant use of the platform is governed by the Global Merchant Services Agreement, the applicable Order Form and its Schedules, including the Data Processing Agreement. Sub-processors are listed in the Sub-processor List. Security practices are described in the Security Statement. Vulnerability reports are handled under the Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure Policy.

4. Intellectual property

4.1 The Altruon name and logo are trademarks of Altruon B.V. All content of this website is protected by copyright and database rights and may not be reproduced without written permission, except as the Website Terms of Use permit. Third-party names and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify supported integrations.

5. Liability

5.1 Information on this website is provided for general information only and does not constitute an offer, advice or a representation. Altruon B.V. accepts no liability for any loss arising from reliance on it, to the fullest extent permitted by law and as set out in the Website Terms of Use.

6. Applicable law

6.1 Dutch law applies. The competent court in Amsterdam has exclusive jurisdiction.
